  • 12 March 07 - Delay You may be wondering about a couple things right now. First, what's taking so long for the Slut Buffet remix single? It's true that we had promised this would be released in January 07 and here it is, Mid-March, and still no sign. However, we think it will be very much worth the wait. When we began recording, we started doing it the same way we recorded "Free Alongside Ship." We recorded everything here in LA ourselves, and just gave the tracks over to Hoagie at Seamonster Sounds to mix. However, after we had recorded the tracks and taken them out to Malibu to transfer over to Hoagie, it became apparent that we could get a much, much better quality by recording the tracks directly at Seamonster Sounds. So we essentially completely re-recorded the two b-sides, Mustache Rides Five Cents and Delay - hence the delay. We don't have a record company exec breathing down our necks so it made sense to take the extra time and effort to make these tracks really awesome! As far as remixes, we're not sure what is going to end up going on the single, but we have gotten some really kick-ass mixes from different people and we will be picking our favorites to include. We will also be releasing a video for Mustache Rides (not Slut Buffet as previously announced.) In other news, we want to thank everyone at the San Diego Indie Music Festival, where we had a kick-ass show! Below is a clip from our encore, "R So" (yes, we actually did an encore).

Oh, one last thing, you may have noticed quite some time ago that the main splash page here at shittingglitter.com says "new page coming soon." OK, so maybe not soon, but it is coming. We are just waiting for the next photo shoot, which was going to be at the Slut Buffet video shoot. Since that's not happening, we will probably be doing photos at the Mustache Rides shoot. The new website will then be designed after that. Thanks for your patience!
  • 5 February 07 - New Year Wow!
