Shitting Glitter
Free Alongside Ship
Decadrisco Records

Electronica, rock, pop, playful, attitude-laden Shitting Glitter have been mesmerizing the Los Angeles gay scene since 2001. Their second album, Free Alongside Ship, is a conglomeration of their varied styles. The band sways from heavy song production laden with beats and beeps, and feisty vocals from lead singer Amy Crosby, to pared-down accessible guitar-driven rock tunes. Quirky melodies lead to an original and entertaining sound. Not your every day band, they are accompanied on stage by a drag queen go-go dancer named Coco Ono. Shitting Glitter have their own style that seems geniune, and they do it well. Schozophrenia meets music making, with all the implications of a deep psychological disorder. Noteworthy Album.
